Miss Marples likes Kayne West and thinks he made the Daft Punk song good. Actually Kanye West made Daft Punk more popular in America than they had been in like, a decade.  As far as “genius”… Miss Marples thinks that is the most overused music buzz word of the decade.  It’s all Kurt Cobain’s fault.  Justsayin….

Yeah, Kanye West is most definitely NOT a musical genius.  He took an awesome song by Daft Punk and put average, no…. BELOW AVERAGE hip hop on top of it.  Basically ruined that one.  And what we heard on SNL was garbage.  Maybe both of those songs will sound better on the album when Kanye does what he is better at; being a musical producer.  (Sitting in the studio using the shit out of auto-tune with probably a thousand takes that equal one or two not terrible ones)  And when I say better, I mean that he is better at that than singing.  Not better than 95% of the rest of the industry whose music producers actually know what the shit they are doing.
